Tamil Nadu State Yoga Council was started in 1989 with the aim of making up the health awareness in rural people, giving yoga practices to students and government servants especially to Tamil Nadu Police Department, conducting Yoga demonstrations for encouraging students and public and acquaints Yoga as a Therapy to the public. Agasthyamadam is the only therapy centre in Kerala State under this yoga council.

We are participating in word yoga demonstration last six years. We have got 3rd, 4th, 8th, 10th and 15th places in last international demonstration conducted January 2009 at Pondichery.
